Biography:-

/

Kazeh was born in Kuwait in 1988. Naturally born with Eczema (Severe Atopic Dermatisis) throughout his body, he was taken to many doctors in Kuwait and outside. Doctors, however, were shocked not by his sickness but by the ability that he started talking while he was nine months old. He was fascinated with reading ever since his childhood. He also carried a passion for learning about history, religions and languages.

He started his Elementary School education in Al-Ahmideya Elementary School when he was 6 years old.

At the age of 8, his teachers noticed that he was “A very bright kid” as they kept calling him. They made him go through a couple of IQ tests and the results were stunning. He was nominated to join Al-Ithra’iya School, which was a school especially made for taking care of high IQ students. But soon he left the school for personal reasons.

He started his Middle School education in Anglo Arab Academy – a private bilingual school – at the age of 10.

“I think that this one year I spent in that school, was one of the seeds that grew the love of English within me.”

He studied there for a year and left to join Qutaiba Middle School at the age of 11.

At the age of 13, Kazeh faced a near-death experience which he says “Had a huge impact on my life.”

After finishing Middle School, he started his High School education in Ahmad Al-Bishr Al-Roumi High School at the age of 14. During this phase of his life, he started different kinds of activities such as drawing, designing, making flash movies, writing short stories and comics. During this time, he was called by the nick name “Kazeh”, which became his pen name later.

Soon after he finished his first year in High School, he decided to leave the school. He continued his High School education in Farhan Al-Khalid Public High School at the age of 15. His interest in novels was increasing everyday. He started with the novel “The Alchemist” which he got from his friend. This was also the age he started writing poetry and reading more books.

“Reading did not just affect me; it woke up the sleeper inside me.”

In 2004, Kazeh did the pilgrimage to Mecca.

“This journey had helped me in developing myself and my spiritual side as it opened my eyes on things I did not realize before.”

At the age of 16, during one of his English classes, his teacher asked the students to prepare an oral presentation to discuss with the whole class. Kazeh decided to read a poem which was entitled “Seeking Forgiveness”. The teacher was very impressed and went on telling other teachers about Kazeh’s poetry skills.

When the teachers heard of the poetry contest, which was Kuwait’s first High School English poetry contest, all the teachers agreed on nominating him. He participated and earned the first place.

Kazeh graduated from High School at the age of 17 in 2006.

He was accepted in Kuwait University straight after his application but his health condition was getting very bad due to his Eczema. He dropped out of the University on the first day and traveled to Czech for treatment.

When he returned back to Kuwait, he applied for the Australian College of Kuwait. He joined the college at the age of 18 in 2007.

In 2008, Kazeh said that so many events happened in that year that changed his life forever.

“2008 did not change my life, but I chose that my life be changed in that year.”

In 19/11/2008, Kazeh published his first poetry book “The Throne” which was released in Kuwait’s 33rd International Book Fair. The Throne was displayed in three bookshops in the book fair. A week later, all three of them announced that it was a bestseller.

In 31/3/2009, The Australian College of Kuwait held its 5th graduation ceremony and Kazeh achieved his Diploma in Electronic Engineering.

Kazeh released his second book of poems entitled “Breeze of Eloquence” in 28/10/2009 in Kuwait’s 34th International Book Fair. The book was sold by The Kuwait Bookshops which announced later that Breeze of Eloquence was a bestseller in their bookshop and the most English book sold at the book fair.
